Hawthorn Berry Syrup (Ancient European Heart Tonic)

Hawthorn berries How our Product is Made: The SRC Difference

Superior Components

We harvest our berries from wild Pennsylvania hawthorn trees. We separate the berries from the leaves, thorns, branches, etc. and only use the berries, which we believe contain the most potent ingredients. This is a very difficult and labor-intensive process. Most companies making hawthorn products state that they use the whole tree.

Many of the hawthorn berries used in various hawthorn products are imported from Eastern Europe in dry dehydrated form. Dr. Christopher (possibly the most famous herbalist in North America) has stated that fluid extracts made from fresh herbs are more potent than those made from dried herbs.

We only use the berries on the trees — not ones that have fallen to the ground, which we have learned spoil much faster and are subject to insects. After the berries have been cleaned, we place them in a freezer to insure freshness prior to processing.

We use only distilled water in the extraction process.

We use vegetable glycerin, which is naturally organically made, instead of synthetic glycerin, which is much cheaper. The glycerin is sweet, thereby eliminating the need for added sugar.

Alcohol Base: Concentrated hawthorn berry fluid extracted with distilled water in a base of vegetable glycerin and 6.7% ethyl alcohol by volume.

Non-Alcohol Base: Concentrated hawthorn berry fluid extracted with distilled water in a vegetable glycerin base. Same hawthorn berry concentration as the alcohol base.

We process Hawthorn Berry Syrup at low temperatures so as not to destroy the valuable enzymes and other heart food ingredients.

Only distilled water is used to extract these ingredients to make this concentrated fluid extract.

Each process step is done with extreme care and quality control. All equipment used is made of stainless steel.

SRC Hawthorn Berry Syrup is a concentrated fluid extract of the highest potency and best quality available. SRC only makes one nutritional supplement product and we make it very well.
